Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your Autobillr subscription at any time through your Account Settings or by contacting support@autobillr.dev. When you cancel:
- Your paid subscription features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
- No further charges will be made after the current billing period ends.
- Your Account will revert to the Free Tier at the end of the billing period.
- Your data (invoices, clients, contracts, payment records) is preserved and accessible on the Free Tier, subject to Free Tier feature limitations.
- Any active Chase Automation sequences will continue until the end of the billing period, then pause.
2. Refund Policy
2.1 General Rule
Autobillr subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. We generally do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. When you cancel, you retain access to paid features through the end of your current billing period.
2.2 Exceptions
We will provide a full or pro-rata refund in the following circumstances:
- Service Outage Credit: If the Service experiences a material outage exceeding the commitments in our Service Level Agreement.
- Material Feature Removal: If we discontinue a material paid feature and you cancel within 30 days.
- Billing Error: If you were charged in error, we will correct it and refund within 14 business days.
- Termination Without Cause by Autobillr: If we terminate your Account without cause, we will provide a pro-rata refund.
2.3 Non-Refundable
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Partial months of service after voluntary cancellation.
- Periods during which your Account was suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Downtime attributable to scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or force majeure events.
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated outputs (contract parsing accuracy, chase message quality, prediction accuracy).
- Unused SMS or WhatsApp message credits.
3. Tier Changes
3.1 Upgrading
When you upgrade, you will be charged the pro-rata difference for the remainder of your current billing period, and the new tier rate will apply from the next billing cycle.
3.2 Downgrading
When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You retain access to the higher tier features until then. No refund is provided for the current billing period.
4. Free Tier
The Free Tier is provided at no charge and may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time with 30 days' notice. No refunds or credits apply to the Free Tier.
5. Founding User Pricing
Users who subscribed during the founding period under special pricing retain those prices for the duration specified. Cancellation and refund terms remain the same as described above.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact support@autobillr.dev with: (a) your Account email address; (b) the reason for the refund request; and (c) any supporting documentation. We will review and respond within 10 business days.
